Each year, wildlife division offices receive thousands of calls for assistance from residents who have problems with wild animals. These conflicts typically include wild animals damaging crops, livestock, homes or
property; wild animals posing a threat to human or pet safety; diseased wild animals; and wild animals taking up residence in homes, attics or areas where they are unwanted.
Some wildlife problems are more common than others. It’s unlikely that a deer or coyote will end up inside your home, but almost everyone has dealt with raccoons, squirrels in the attic or a mouse problem.
