When a female Rat has her babies, the total time of delivery is aprox 1 hour.\u00a0 That is a baby rat\u00a0 every 6 minutes. The growth rate for baby rats is very fast, going from a total hairless baby rat to sexually active member of rat society in less than 4 months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rats are responsible for several very famous events in history like\u00a0the Black Plaque.\u00a0\u00a0The Black Plague started in China where infected rats and mice\u00a0passed the disease to fleas and\u00a0the disease quickly spread to humans and over 25 million people died. That&#8217;s right folks, 25,000,000 people died because of a\u00a0rats and disease.\u00a0 Then there was the Bubonic Plaque.\u00a0 Similar to the Black Plaque, this effected human lymph nodes. The mortality rate for the Bubonic was about 75%, meaning that 3 out of 4\u00a0 people who got it, died.
