Waldorf Squirrel Control!
(410) 567-5440
As Fall starts to approach, The weather gets cooler in Southern Maryland and Squirrel removal and Squirrel control becomes a common call we get in the Waldorf area. Waldorf Maryland has all the makings for Squirrels to become a nuisance in the areas of White Plains, Waldorf, Hughesville, Upper Marlboro, LaPlata and many other areas of the Southern Maryland section that has become over whelmed with homes and has displaced animals such as squirrels. The Squirrels of Maryland are as follows:
- Grey Squirrels
- Red Squirrels
- Flying Squirrels
Grey Squirrels become a nuisance when the forest in which they live in gets cut to a point where the area will not sustain the population in which the area holds. Squirrels in attics are very common in this part of Maryland as the house growth over the last several years has been quit large. Grey squirrels chew their way into house and into attics to make a home for the winter months. after a sufficient home has been made, the squirrels look to reproduce and start a family. This usually occurs in December and January and the babies are born in March and April in your attic area of your home.
At first the noise is settle, with a little bumping and scratching in the attic of the house. The noise should be limited to early morning and late evening. this is while the female squirrel is nesting her babies, this is because they are to young to move around. after 3 or 4 weeks the noise get more frequent and louder. the noise turns into running and jumping, it sounds like they are having the Olympics in you attic! This is the babies. they are now old enough to run and jump!!! This is a point that you want to go crazy, you cant sleep, you want to go in the attic with a shotgun and just go wild. But you cant do that, remember where you live!!!
Flying Squirrels in my Attic
