Skunks are one of the Prettiest Animal we have in America, The unmistakable Black and White color is easiliy identifiable to both adults and children alike, the famaous Peppe LaPew put the skunk on the map and have made children adore the stripped animal ever since.
One thing that the cartoon does not represent is the fact that the Skunk is the number two carrier of Rabies in the United States, followed closely by the Fox, The raccoon is the number one carrier in the US, this information is according to the HSUS website on Rabies. Skunks eat a variety of Grubs, Worms and other ground dwelling creature and fall into the catagory Carnovira or meat-eating animal.
